Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) possess intrinsic spin-orbit interaction (SOI) with high potential to be exploited for various quantum phenomena. SOI allows the manipulation of spin degree of freedom by controlling the carrier's orbital motion via mechanical strain.
