Reasonable structural design and composition control are the dominant factors for tuning the electromagnetic absorbing properties of materials. In this paper, microspheres composed of NiO, Ni, and Co<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub> nanoparticles (NCMO) were successfully synthesized using a mild oxidation method.
