The genome sequence of the common red soldier beetle, Rhagonycha fulva (Scopoli, 1763).


ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual female Rhagonycha fulva (the common red soldier beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Cantharidae). The genome sequence is 425 megabases in span. The majority of the assembly is scaffolded into seven chromosomal pseudomolecules, with the X sex chromosome assembled.
