A highly efficient and eco-friendly route for the reduction of graphene oxide (GO) to reduced graphene oxide (rGO) was developed by using polyvinylpyrrolidone coated CeO<sub>2</sub> NPs (PVP-CeO<sub>2</sub>) as a reducing and stabilizing agent.
