Red, green, and blue light-emitting carbon dots prepared from gallic acid for white light-emitting diode applications.

ABSTRACT: Red, green, and blue CDs were successfully prepared by a solvothermal method using gallic acid as the raw material. The distinct optical features of these CDs are based on the differences in the size of their sp²-domains, which can be governed by reaction solvents.
