Cu-modified nanoparticles have been designed to mimic peroxidase, and their potent antibacterial and anti-biofilm abilities have been widely investigated. In this study, novel core-shell polydopamine (PDA)/Cu<sub>4</sub>(OH)<sub>6</sub>SO<sub>4</sub> crystal (PDA/Cu) nanometer rods were prepared.
