ABSTRACT:

Objectives

The objective of this review of reviews was to identify the potentially modifiable barriers and facilitators to physical activity in people with a musculoskeletal condition to influence intervention development.

Study design

A rapid review of reviews.

Methods

The Cochrane library and PubMed Central were searched for reviews using pre-defined search terms and relevant synonyms for "physical activity", "barriers" or "facilitators", and "musculoskeletal condition". The identified reviews were screened for inclusion by the principal investigator in line with recognised streamlining approaches for a rapid review.
