ABSTRACT: The structure of the title salt, C₆H₁₀N₂ ²⁺·2C₇H₇O₃S^-, consists of a unique benzene-1,2-diaminium dication charge balanced by a pair of crystallographically independent 4-methyl-benzene-1-sulfonate anions. The cations and anions are inter-linked by several N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
