ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C₁₆H₁₉N₃O₂Si, the dihedral angle between the coumarin ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.031 Å) and the triazole ring is 73.81 (8)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into [010] chains by weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Project description:Two independent mol-ecules comprise the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C24H26N4O. The major difference between them is found in the relative orientation of the triazole-bound p-tolyl group which have the opposite sense of twist [N-N-C-C torsion angles = 55.8?(3) and -49.8?(3)°]. The chalcone residue is almost coplanar with the triazole ring [N-C-C-O and C-C-C-C torsion angles = -178.9?(2) and -178.5?(2)°, respectively; cf. 177.9?(3) and 168.5?(3)°, respectively, in the second mol-ecule]. The conformation about each C=C double bond is E and in each case the triazole methyl group is syn to the carbonyl O atom. In the crystal, mol-ecules aggregate into layers parallel to (-113). The first independent mol-ecule self-associates into a layer via C-H?O and C-H?? inter-actions. By contrast, layers comprising the second independent mol-ecule do not feature specific inter-actions between mol-ecules. The global crystal packing comprises alternating layers.

Project description:In the title compound, C(10)H(9)N(3)O(3), there is a small twist between the benzene and triazole rings [dihedral angle = 6.32 (7)°]; the carb-oxy-lic acid residue is almost coplanar with the benzene ring to which it is attached [O-C-C-C torsion angle = 1.49 (19)°]. The main deviation from coplanarity of the non-H atoms is found for the hy-droxy group which is almost perpendicular to the remaining atoms [N-C-C-O torsion angle = -75.46 (16)°]. Crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of 1-[(1-butyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)meth-yl]-3-methyl-quinoxalin-2(1H)-one.

Project description:The title compound, C16H19N5O, is built up from a planar quinoxalinone ring system linked through a methyl-ene bridge to a 1,2,3-triazole ring, which in turn carries an n-butyl substituent. The triazole ring is inclined by 67.09 (4)° to the quinoxalinone ring plane. In the crystal, the mol-ecules form oblique stacks along the a-axis direction through inter-molecular C-HTrz⋯NTrz (Trz = triazole) hydrogen bonds, and offset π-stacking inter-actions between quinoxalinone rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.9107 (9) Å] and π-π inter-actions, which are associated pairwise by inversion-related C-HDhydqn⋯π(ring) (Dhydqn = di-hydro-quinoxaline) inter-actions. The Hirshfeld surface analysis of the crystal structure indicates that the most important contributions for the crystal packing are from H⋯H (52.7%), H⋯N/N⋯H (18.9%) and H⋯C/C⋯H (17.0%) inter-actions.
