<i>Sideritis clandestina</i> (Bory & Chaub.) Hayek subsp. <i>peloponnesiaca</i> (Boiss. & Heldr.) Baden (SCP) is endemic to the mountains of the Northern Peloponnese (Greece). This and other <i>Sideritis</i> taxa, collectively known as mountain tea, are widely ingested as beverages for refreshment or medicinal purposes.
