Small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) are a highly expressed class of non-coding RNAs known for their role in guiding post-transcriptional modifications of ribosomal RNAs and small nuclear RNAs. Emerging studies suggest that snoRNAs are also implicated in regulating other vital cellular processes, such as pre-mRNA splicing and 3'-processing of mRNAs, and in the development of cancer and viral infections. There is an emerging body of evidence for specific snoRNA's involvement in the optimal replication ...[more]
