Pd nanoparticles were directly immobilized on acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer (AS), polystyrene (PS), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene (PE) polymer substrates via chemical reactions induced by ionizing irradiation.
