Combined minimally invasive para-esophageal hernia repair and lobectomy for lung cancer.

ABSTRACT: Preexisting para-esophageal hernia may increase the risk of postoperative complications after lobectomy for lung cancer. A combined laparoscopic hernia repair and thoracoscopic lobectomy may be performed to manage hernia and lung cancer concurrently. This approach possibly prevented complications from the presence of hernia after lobectomy.
