<h4>Background</h4>Using the spin-lattice relaxation time (T1) as a biomarker, the myocardium can be quantitatively characterized using cardiac T1 mapping. The modified Look-Locker inversion (MOLLI) recovery sequences have become the standard clinical method for cardiac T1 mapping.
