Extended use of rh-endostatin improves prognosis in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer: an analysis of retrospective study.


ABSTRACT:

Background

Rh-endostatin is a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis approved and widely used for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in China. While the efficacy and safety of extended use of rh-endostatin with platinum-based chemotherapy during induced and maintenance therapy are still not very clear, and whether extended use of rh-endostatin can improve survival needs further investigation.

Methods

We performed a retrospective analysis of chemotherapy-naïve patients with stage IIIB-IV or recurrent NSCLC who had been treated with first-line chemotherapy plus rh-endostatin between January 2008 and June 2018.
