Vesicle-associated membrane protein 2 (VAMP2, also known as synaptobrevin-2), encoded by VAMP2 in humans, is a key component of the soluble <i>N</i>-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptor (SNARE) complex.
