Bacterial wilt is a soil-borne disease that represents ubiquitous threat to <i>Solanaceae</i> crops. The whole-root transcriptomes and metabolomes of bacterial wilt-resistant eggplant were studied to understand the response of eggplant to bacterial wilt.
