ABSTRACT: Malacoplasma iowae, previously known as "Mycoplasma iowae," is associated with embryo mortality, reduced hatchability, and leg abnormalities in turkeys, leading to considerable economic losses. Here, we report the complete and annotated genome sequence of Malacoplasma iowae type strain 695.
