Urban Microbiomes in Narita, Chiba, Japan: Shotgun Metagenome Sequences of a Train Station.

ABSTRACT: Here, we performed shotgun metagenome sequencing of swab samples collected on floors at a train station in Narita City, Chiba, Japan. The taxonomic analysis revealed that Actinobacteria and Proteobacteria were the dominant phyla. The data will contribute to insight into the microbiome community on the surfaces of urban built environments.
