ABSTRACT: Highlights • External quality assurance of serological diagnosis of dengue virus (DENV), chikungunya virus (CHIKV) and Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) was undertaken at 124 virus research and diagnostic laboratories (VRDLs) over 2 years.• The average concordance of 124 VRDLs for both 2018–19 and 2019–20 was 98%.• In 2018–19, 78.33% of VRDLs reported 100% concordance for DENV, CHIKV and JEV IgM panels.• In 2019–20, 79.68% of VRDLs showed 100% concordance for DENV, CHIKV and JEV IgM panels.• This study clearly indicates good proficiency in serodiagnosis of DENV, CHIKV and JEV infections in VRDLs.
