The genome sequence of a soldier beetle, Cantharis rustica Fallen 1807.

ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual male Cantharis rustica (a soldier beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Cantharidae). The genome sequence is 446 megabases in span. The majority (99.71%) of the assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules, with the X sex chromosome assembled.
