The genome sequence of the marbled white butterfly, Melanargia galathea (Linnaeus, 1758).

ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual female Melanargia galathea (the marbled white; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Nymphalidae). The genome sequence is 606 megabases in span. The majority (99.97%) of the assembly is scaffolded into 25 chromosomal pseudomolecules, with the W and Z sex chromosomes assembled.
