<i>Ischnura asiatica</i> (Brauer, 1865) is a freshwater damselfly belonging to the family Coenagrionidae that is distributed across most of Korea, primarily in areas with low water flow, such as ponds and wetlands. The complete mitochondrial genome of <i>I. asiatica</i> was sequenced by next-generation sequencing.
