The sirtuin family has been reported to participate in the regulation of oxidative stress, cancer metabolism, aging, and so on. However, few studies have demonstrated its role in ferroptosis. Our previous studies confirmed that SIRT6 is upregulated in thyroid cancer and associated with cancer development by regulating glycolysis and autophagy.
