ABSTRACT: The title compound, C₅H₆BrN₃, crystallizes in the ortho-rhom-bic space group P2₁2₁2₁ with two mol-ecules with different conformations in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, N-H⋯N and bifurcated N-H⋯(N,N) hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into [100] chains; a short Br⋯Br halogen bond and π-π stacking inter-actions are also observed.
