ABSTRACT: Mitral valve repair clip detachment and embolization is a rare phenomenon, with few reported cases. We describe a case of subacute transcatheter mitral valve repair clip embolization presenting as an inferior ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, with subsequent successful percutaneous device retrieval.
