Canonical CRISPR-Cas systems provide adaptive immunity against mobile genetic elements<sup>1</sup>. However, type I-F, I-B and V-K systems have been adopted by Tn7-like transposons to direct RNA-guided transposon insertion<sup>2-7</sup>.
