Machine learning assessment of dose-dependent toxicity of DEHP on kinematic parameters in Drosophila larvae

ABSTRACT: This dataset encompasses experiments investigating the effects of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) on the motility behavior of Drosophila larvae. Given that DEHP is a widely used plasticizer and is prevalent in the environment, many organisms are subjected to varying degrees of exposure. In this study, fruit fly larvae were exposed to DEHP at different concentration gradients (0, 0.01%, 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1% v/v). Machine learning methods were employed to observe and record the movement activities of the larvae, allowing for an accurate evaluation of their kinematic parameters. The detailed data reveal the significant impact of high concentrations of DEHP on the movement behavior of fruit fly larvae from a kinematic perspective, providing a crucial quantitative basis for further exploration of the potential ecological and health risks of DEHP to insects and other organisms. The data possess high scientific value and serve as a significant reference for research.
