ABSTRACT: The title complex, [Au(2)(C(17)H(11)N)(2)(C(12)H(10)P)]ClO(4)·C(2)H(3)N, contains two Au(III) atoms bridged by a diphenyl-phosphanide ligand. Each Au atom is in a square-planar environment coordinated by diphenyl-phosphanide and 2,6-diphenyl-pyridine ligands. There are weak ?-? stacking inter-actions between neighbouring mol-ecules (the inter-planar separations between two neighbouring dpp units are 3.40 and 3.57?Å). The intra-molecular Au?Au separation is 3.788?(5)?Å. The crystal structure shows weak inter-molecular C-H?O and C-H?N hydrogen bonds involving an O atom of the perchlorate counter-ion and the N atom of the acetonitrile solvent mol-ecule, respectively.

Project description:In the title compound, {[Cu(C(5)H(4)N(4)S(4))(2)(C(2)H(3)N)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·C(2)H(3)N}(n), the Cu(II) atom occupies a crystallographic inversion centre and is six-coordinated by six N atoms of four symmetry-related 2,2'-(methyl-enedithio)bis-(1,3,4-thia-diazole) (L) ligands and two acetonitrile mol-ecules in a slightly distorted octa-hedral geometry. The ligand L adopts an N:N'-bidentate bridging mode in a trans configuration, bridging the Cu atoms via translation symmetry, forming a two-dimensional layer-like structure. The perchlorate ions serve as acceptors for inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, which link the layers into a three-dimensional network. The ClO(4) (-) anion is disordered with an occupation ratio of 0.658:0.342.

Project description:In the cation of the title compound, [Mn(C(11)H(13)N(5))(2)](ClO(4))(2)·CH(3)CN, the metal atom is located on a twofold rotation axis and is six-coordinated by six N atoms from two different 2,6-bis-(4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)pyridine (bip) ligands in a distorted octahedral geometry. The O atoms of the perchlorate anions are disordered with occupancies in the ratio 0.593 (10):0.407 (10). In the crystal, mol-ecules are stabilized by two N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming zigzag chains along the a axis, which are further inter-connected by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.50 (1) Å] into a three-dimensional network.

Project description:The unit cell of the title compound, [Mn(2)(C(2)O(4))(C(10)H(8)N(2))(4)](ClO(4))(2)·C(10)H(8)N(2), consists of a binuclear cation, two perchlor-ate anions, and one solvent 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) mol-ecule. In the complex cation [Mn(2)(C(2)O(4))(C(10)N(2)H(8))(4)](2+), two Mn(II) atoms are bridged by a bis-(bidentate) oxalate ligand, each Mn(II) atom being further coordinated by two bpy ligands in a distorted octa-hedral geometry. The distance between the two six-coordinated metal atoms is 5.583 (1) Å. π-π stacking inter-actions [inter-planar distances between bpy rings = 3.739 (1) Å] are essential to the supramolecular assembly. There are extensive inter-ionic C-H⋯O inter-actions between the cations and between the cation and anion. Three of the four perchlorate O atoms are disordered over two sets of sites with occupancy ratios of 0.852 (6):0.148 (6).

Project description:In the title compound, [AuCl(2)(C(9)H(12)N)(2)][AuCl(4)]·C(2)H(3)N, there is a mirror plane passing through Au and the central C-C bond of the bipyridyl ligand in the cation, and through Au and two Cl atoms of the anion. A cis-AuCl(2)N(2) square-planar geometry for the cation and a square-planar AuCl(4) geometry for the anion result. The two C atoms and the N atom of the acetonitrile mol-ecule all have m site symmetries. In the crystal structure, weak C-H⋯Cl inter-actions may help to establish the packing.

Project description:The title complex, [CuFe(C(5)H(5))(C(20)H(14)N(3))(C(12)H(8)N(2))](ClO(4))(2)·C(2)H(3)N, consists of a mononuclear [Cu(C(12)H(8)N(2))(C(25)H(19)FeN(3))](2+) cation, two ClO(4) (-) anions (one of which is disordered over two positions with equal occupancy) and one CH(3)CN solvent mol-ecule. The Cu(II) center has a distorted square-pyramidal coordination with three N atoms of the 4'-ferrocenyl-2,2':6',2''- terpyridine (fctpy) ligand and one 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) N atom in the basal plane and a second phen N atom in the apical position with an axial distance of 2.254 (4) Å. The disordered ClO(4) (-) anion is weakly coordin-ated to the Cu(II) ion with a Cu-O distance of 2.766 (11) Å. The two cyclo-penta-dienyl rings of the ferrocenyl group are almost eclipsed with a deviation of 4.7 (1) °, and are involved in inter-molecular π-π inter-actions with the outer pyridyl rings of the fctpy ligands [centroid-centroid distance = 3.759 (2) Å.].

Project description:The title compound, C(27)H(27)N(3)O(6), a bis-amide derivative, is also a chiral amino acid ester with l-phenyl-alanine methyl ester groups as amine substituents. The pyridine ring is oriented at dihedral angles of 89.69 (3) and 62.95 (3)° with respect to the phenyl rings, while the dihedral angle between the phenyl rings is 60.76 (3)°. Project description:The title compound, [Ru(C(10)H(8)N(2))(2)(C(13)H(7)N(3)S)](PF(6))(2)·CH(3)CN, was synthesized by the reaction of thio-phosgene and bis-(2,2'-bipyridine)(1,10-phenanthrolin-5-amine)ruthenium(II) bis-(hexa-fluoridophosphate). The Ru(II) atom adopts a slightly distorted octa-hedral RuN(6) coordinaton formed by four N atoms of two bipyridine ligands and by two N atoms of the 1,10-phenantroline ligand. The isothio-cyanate group is almost linear, with an N-C-S angle of 174.4 (6)°. Two of the three hexa-fluoridophosphate counter-anions are located on inversion centres.
