4-Bromobenzoyl 4-bromobenzoate monohydrate.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(14)H(8)Br(2)O(3)·H(2)O, the organic and water mol-ecules both have crystallographically imposed C(s) symmetry. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 45.76?(11)°. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular C-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains parallel to the a axis. No ?-? stacking inter-actions are observed in the crystal structure.
