Di-?-acetato-?(4)O:O-bis-({2-[(piperidin-2-ylmeth-yl)imino-meth-yl]phenolato-?(3)N,N',O}copper(II)) monohydrate.

ABSTRACT: In the binuclear centrosymmetric title compound, [Cu(2)(C(13)H(17)N(2)O)(2)(C(2)H(3)O(2))(2)]·H(2)O, the Cu(II) atom is coordin-ated by two N atoms and one O atom from the Schiff base ligand and an acetate O atom in a distorted suare-planar geometry. The water O atom is invoved in three different hydrogen-bonding interactions, as donor to the acetate O atom and to the the ligand O atom and as acceptor to a ligand N atom.
