ABSTRACT: Highlights•A post-MI ventricular septal defect is a complication of ST-elevation MI.•Iatrogenic tricuspid regurgitations have not been reported after percutaneous closure.•Care should be taken with the degree of tricuspid regurgitation to prevent iatrogenic tricuspid injury.
