ABSTRACT: The National Quality Forum has endorsed at least 12 lymph node yield (LNY) as a surgical quality indicator in colorectal cancer (CRC), but the prognostic value of adequate lymphadenectomy has rarely been investigated for CRC patients with distant metastatic disease.
