Project description:Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood from patients with familial PD and their matched healthy siblings. Genomic microarray analysis of the subjects was performed using the CytoScan HD array platform. The CytoScan HD assay was performed according to the manufacturer’s protocol. CEL files that include the intensity probe signals were produced by GeneChip Scanner 3000 7G, using the GeneChip Command Console Software (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA).
Project description:This dataset contains de identified, processed copy number estimates for SMN1 exon 7 and exon 8 derived from the Thermo Fisher CarrierScan 1S SNP array platform. Data were generated as part of a large retrospective clinical carrier screening study evaluating SMN1 deletion patterns and characterizing the relative frequencies of hybrid versus contiguous deletion alleles. Only processed CNV values are deposited; raw array intensities and probe level annotation files are proprietary to Thermo Fisher Scientific and cannot be publicly distributed. The processed values deposited here represent all data necessary to reproduce the analyses presented in the associated manuscript.

Project description:We aimed to identify urinary exosomal miRNAs associated with PCa metastasis and develop a non-invasive risk-scoring model for PCa metastasis in this study. MiRNA profiles were examined using the Taqman low-density miRNA array (TLDA). Megaplex reverse transcription reactions and pre-amplification reactions were performed to increase the quantity of cDNA for miRNA expression analysis using the Megaplex PreAmp Primers Human Pool A and TaqMan PreAmp Master Mix (Thermo Fisher Scientific). MiRNA expression was evaluated via the TLDA panel A v2.0 (Thermo Fisher Scientific). Raw data were processed using the QuantStudio Real-Time PCR Software (Thermo Fisher Scientific) to determine a cycle threshold (Ct) value for each miRNA.
