Project description:DNA samples were extracted from peripheral blood lymphocytes using commercially available kit (Puregene Core Kit A, Qiagen) according to manufacturer's protocol. Agilent SurePrint G3 Human CGH Microarray 180K platform was used for screening of copy number aberrations (CNAs) using array-CGH protocol recommended by manufacturer (Agilent Technologies), data mining and interpretation of array-CGH results was performed in same manner as in our previously published results.

Project description:The study was carried out to identify copy number variations using array-CGH in family having three children affected with albinism (OCA1B) and the males were affected with ID. Agilent’s SureScan microarray scanner with SurePrint G3 Human CGH, 8x60K array platform was used for the study. The probes used for the experiment was approximately 60000 oligonucleotide, allowing detection of deletions above 200 Kb and duplication above 500 kb in entire human genome. CytoGenomics software used to carryout data analysis revealed CNVs in participants.

Comparative genomic hybridization in neuroblastoma stage 3

Project description:To evaluate genetic profile in neuroblastoma stage 3 fresh frozen or paraffin embedded (FFPE) tumor samples were dedicated to array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) for analyzing copy number variations. It was used 200 ng of tumor DNA for aCGH analyses. The Agilent SurePrint G3 CGH ISCA v2 Microarray Kit 8x60K array platform was used for genome evaluation without enzymatic digestion. The resolution for aCGH evaluation was established on 0.15Mb for frozen samples and 1Mb for FFPE.
