Genomic insights into the population history of the Resande or Swedish Travellers

ABSTRACT: In the present work we analyze for the first time from a genetic perspective the Resande population, a minority ethnic group from Sweden that has been scarcely studied and historically persecuted. We studied their origins and demographic history by using genome-wide array data and whole mitochondrial sequences.
