Integrated Genomics and Metagenomics Predictions and Modulation of the Gut Microbiota-Muscel Axis to Improve Fillet Yield in Rainbow Trout
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This VCF file contains high-confidence single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and small indels identified from whole-genome sequencing of rainbow trout used in the “Integrated Genomics and Metagenomics Predictions and Modulation of the Gut Microbiota–Muscle Axis to Improve Fillet Yield” project. These variants support analyses integrating host genomic, phenotypic, and functional metagenomic data to explore the genetic basis of growth and muscle yield traits. The dataset enables genome-wide association studies and multi-omics prediction models that combine host genetics and microbiome functional profiles to account for previously unexplained phenotypic variation and improve predictive ability for aquaculture-relevant traits.
