Association of a CD44 Variant with Coronary Artery Disease within the Chinese Population: Development and Validation of a Nomogram Model

ABSTRACT: This study investigated the association between CD44 gene rs13347 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and coronary artery disease (CAD) in a Chinese population, and developed and validated a nomogram model for individualized CAD risk prediction. patients and healthy controls were enrolled, genotyped for CD44 rs13347, and divided into training and validation groups. Multivariate logistic regression was used to identify independent risk factors, and the nomogram was evaluated by ROC curve, calibration curve, decision curve analysis, and Hosmer-Lemeshow test. The study confirmed that CD44 rs13347 is an independent risk factor for CAD, and the established nomogram has good predictive performance and clinical application value.
