GESTALTOMICS: A PROOF OF CONCEPT IN THE STUDY OF SCHIZOPHRENIA
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The integration of classic and OMICS disciplines allows us to confirm several characteristics of schizophrenia that have been previously described using classical technologies in the study of the brain or cerebrospinal fluid; however, these observations reported by these studies could be made from non-invasive patient samples such as plasma or urine by the approach of Gestaltomics. We analyzed 10 SNPs selected of the genes DDC, IDO2 and SMARCAL1. We did not performed GWA studies with the microarray data.
