Single-nucleotide polymorphism matrices for parental lines of a large diversity hybrid panel of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Heterosis, the superior performance of hybrids over their parents, has been exploited systematically in crop breeding and
is considered a crucial asset for addressing global food demands. To investigate the genetic basis of midparent heterosis in hybrid
populations derived from diverse parental lines, a large hybrid dataset comprising 5,234 single crosses produced from 588 parental lines
were used to mapping the heterotic QTL.
