Transcriptomic analysis of TDRD9-depleted lung tumor cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Tudor domain containing protein 9 (TDRD9) is a RNA helicase normally expressed in the germline. We have shown that TDRD9 is highly expressed in a subset of non-small cell lung carcinomas. Here we determine the transcriptomic changes of a TDRD9-positive lung tumor cells line (NCI-H1993) depleted of TDRD9. Overall design: NCI-H1993 cells were treated either with siRNA control, siTDRD9-1 or siTDRD9-2 during 72 h. siTDRD9-1 and siTDRD9-2 are two different siRNAs against the transcript of TDRD9 gene. Triplicated independent cultures were recovered and processed for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays.
