ABSTRACT: The goal of this study was to examine microRNA profiles of primate cervicovaginal lavage (CVL) during the menstrual cycle and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) infection, and to determine if CVL-associated miRNAs might influence replication of retroviruses.
