Expression data from testes fragment of 7-week-old W/Wv mouse testes

ABSTRACT: In the terminal end of the seminiferous tubules adjacent to rete testis (RT), there are valve-like structures called Sertoli valve (SV) epithelia. SV epithelia are constitutively missing most spermatogenesis activity partially through high GDNF expression, leading to the SV-specific enrichment of undifferentiated spermatogonia. We used microarrays to elucidate the molecular characterization in the SV epithelia.
