Gene expression profiling of human CD11c+ CD19+ vs CD11C- CD19+ B-cells

ABSTRACT: We aimed to characterize CD11c+ B cells from healthy humans by gene expression analysis. We report that CD11c+ B cells are a distinct subpopulation of B cells, even if their phenotype is heterogeneous, with overexpression of genes involved in B cell activation and antigen presentation.
