Transcriptional analysis of respiratory pathways in the hyperthermophilic crenarchaeon Pyrobaculum aerophilum


ABSTRACT: We compared global transcriptional patterns in Pyrobaculum aerophilum cultures with oxygen, nitrate, arsenate and ferric iron as respiratory electron acceptors to identify genes and regulatory patterns that differentiate these pathways.
