Genome-wide methylation analysis on the impact of gluten-free diets using Infinium HumanMethylation 450 BeadChip

ABSTRACT: Genome wide DNA methylation profiling in saliva samples from individuals before and after the uptake of a gluten-free diet. The Illumina Infinium 450k Human DNA methylation BeadChip was used to obtain DNA methylation profiles across approximately 485,500 CpGs. The study investigated the impact of a short-term GFD on oral DNA methylation in healthy individuals.
