Ascorbate Suppresses VEGF Expression in Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells

ABSTRACT: In this study we show that ascorbate (vitamin C) shifts the hydroxymethylome and transcriptome in RPE cells, and downregulates expression of VEGF.
