ABSTRACT: In this study, we evaluated global Mtb-induced gene expression in airway immune cells obtained by bronchoalveolar lavage of individuals with latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) and in Mtb-naïve control subjects We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression evaluating the impact of localized T cells subsets in the recall responses of individuals with LTBI
