ABSTRACT: We investigate photorespiration pathways in the chemoautotroph Cupriavidus necator H16 when growing autotropically on hydrogen and carbon dioxide via the Calvin Cycle. We demonstrate an upregulation of the glycerate pathway under photorespiration (ambient carbon dioxide) conditions
