Effect of acute systemic inflammation on the Cerebral Vasculature in mice

ABSTRACT: To capture the global gene expression patterns in the cerebral vasculature following acute systemic inflammation, we injected the mice with LPS and sacrificed them after 15 min, 30 min, and 4 hrs, followed by the isolation of the cerebral vessels. RNA was isolated from the vessel lysates, followed by library preparation and RNA sequencing.
